What We Do For Hunters & Land Owners

Food Plots — Cleared, Tilled, Ready to Seed

We turn an overgrown thickets into deer havens — cleared, tilled, and prepped. You show up with a seed bag, not a chainsaw.

Shooting Lanes & Sightlines

Clear out your shooting lanes now! Or have us cut in new ones. How many times have you regretted not clearing out proper shooting lanes when your target buck comes in at the wrong angle?!?!

Bedding & Sanctuary Edges

Selective clearing that creates the thick-to-open edges deer bed against. Deer are lazy — give them cover and food in the right spot and they'll come to you.

Trails & Access

Quiet entry and exit routes, ATV trails, and access to the back corners you can't reach today — so you get to your stand without blowing deer out.

Buckthorn & Honeysuckle

Wisconsin's two worst invasives choke out the native plants that deer actually want. Our CTL mulcher does more in an hour than two people can do by hand in a entire day.

Small Trees Up to 8"

Our tracked mulcher takes down trees up to 8 inches and grinds them into mulch. Stumps ground to dirt level — plantable, drivable, done.

How It Works — And Why It Beats a Dozer for Plots

1

Free On-Site Walk

We walk your land together, flag what stays (stands, blinds, lines), and agree on scope and a contract price.

2

Project Day — Clear & Till

The tracked mulcher grinds the brush down, then we till and prep the plot so it's ready to seed. Everything's processed on the spot.

3

Walk-Away Clean

No burn piles, no hauling, no torn-up topsoil. Just open, plantable, huntable ground — (and before-and-after photos when we wrap up).

Compared to bulldozing, mulching is cheaper and it protects your soil — exactly what you want under a food plot. A dozer is for house pads, not plots.

See It In Action

2,300 RPM of pure plot-building horsepower

Watch the mulcher head come to life. Those knives chew through buckthorn, brush, and small trees — turning an overgrown corner into next season's food plot.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I clear a plot to plant this season?

Now through late summer. Clear in June–August and you've got time to disc, lime, and seed a fall blend (brassicas, cereal rye, clover) that's drawing deer by bow season. The earlier we open it, the more established your plot is when it matters.

Or, if you're like me and enjoy late season hunting - the "winter mix" food plots are the best. Typically, these are planted in August, mature in October, and stay green into January. After trophy bucks are done chasing, they need to refuel. These foodplots become irresitable to tired and hungry bucks.

Do I have to till it myself before planting?

No. We clear, till, and prep the plot so it's ready to seed when we pull out. Show up with your seed and a spreader. We'll talk through your blend and plan when we walk the property.

Depending on timing you may need to spray herbicide prior to planting. This is particularly true in the spring - but by late summer, the weed seeds are not as bad.

Will the buckthorn grow back in my plot?

It's an aggressive re-sprouter. We do the heavy lifting year one; you knock down re-sprouts with a mower or sprayer the next couple seasons. Keeping a plot planted and mowed is one of the best ways to hold it back.

How big of an area can you do?

We've done very small paths and foodplots to multi-acre plots. All projects are welcome - whatever you need, we're here to help.

Do I have to be present during the work?

No. As long as we've walked it and marked what stays (what trees you want us to preserve), we can run the job whether you're there or not. We send before-and-after photos when we wrap up.
